I can say…and write that pretty easily….essential oils are used for around thousands year in the medical field. You can find this essential oil in your usual organic store or on the web under the name of mentha piperita, be sure this is the name because you have many different kinds of mint. To slow down your headaches, take 2 drops on the tips of your fingers and rub your temple and forehead, be very very careful not rubbing too close to your eyes…it could have a burning feeling (in this case rince with oil, like olive oil for exemple, don’t use water to rinse your eyes, oils are not diluted in water, it wouldn’t help, than take the advise of your therapist or pharmacy). Usually there is no need to dilute peppermint essential oil to apply on your skin, except if your skin is extremely sensitive. Rubbing this area will bring out a vasodilator action and slow down your blood stream, calming down and relaxing your head feeling. It will also bring you a cooling feeling. If your headache is really resistant, add some drops of gaultherie essential oil, which has a fast effect too on headaches. Massage is very important, it will allow the active substances to penetrate your skin to go trough your blood stream.
Peppermint against Digestive Problems
Peppermint Essential Oil is amazingly effective against bad breath, nausea, bad digestion, vomiting or gas.
In this case you can put 2 drops of peppermint oil on a piece of whole bread and swallow (swallowing essential oil pure would burn your mucus membrane, so use bread or crackers), you can even dip your piece of bread in a table spoon of olive oil mixed with peppermint essential oil…don’t do that more than 3 times a day…
In a few minutes, you will have a mint breath….it’s fast and effective…and healthy….and is lasting for hours, compared to mint candies.
You can even try this amazing test: take a few drops of peppermint essential oil and rub your feet arches….it’s penetrating the blood stream, in a few minutes, your breath will smell…peppermint

Put a few drops on your chest and rub your skin, it is the substance used by vicks Vaporub to fight your flu and cold.
Peppermint Essential Oil against Pain and Small Brouses
Did you know that a 1994 study showed that peppermint essential oil was effective at blocking channels that transmit pain signals? Yes, so peppermint is definitely one of the best essential oils for pain!
