My super natural homemade recipe for hair mask,
Just out of the shower this morning…and feeling great, my hair looks beautiful…I have done my weekly hair mask, with my own recipe.
My hair is stressed….why?
Probably because I am spending time under the extrem Caledonian sunny sky or under the Floridian beautiful sky.
But also because I am sometimes stressed…and tired…and because I had some tiny health issues…and truly, because I didn’t know what kind of organic whole natural hair mask I could find in stores…you find silicone everywhere…in every shampoo or conditionner…and honestly…it is giving a great feeling…but it is coating your hair, not allowing any good substance to moister or treat the fiber of your hair…the prove….silicone is the substance used to kill lice…by suffocation…and your hair is enduring the same treatment…
So… here is my tip for today…for beautiful and healthy hair…and scalp
Break an egg yolk in a bowl, add 2 tea spoons of castor oil as well as a tea spoon of liquid honey and as some milk to give a smooth texture to your mask. I also add 5 drops of tea tree essential oil which is excellent for your scalp.
Spread generously your blend on your hair and scalp, wrap your hair with a hot towel (to help the active ingredients contained in egg, castor oil, honey, milk and tea tree oil to penetrate and treat your hair). Let it set down for 30 minutes, than rinse and shampoo as usual.
Before drying my hair, I use my hair serum heat protector.
Ingredients Secrets:
Egg yolk:
- Eggs are rich in protein. Protein helps to make the hair follicle stronger and stronger strands of hair are less likely to break. Therefore, you’ll have fewer split ends. In addition to enhancing resistance to breakage, applying raw eggs to hair also makes it smooth. Smooth hair is easier to brush or comb and less likely to become tangled or knotted. Hair is also made thicker from the protein in raw eggs. This is especially beneficial if you have limp, lifeless hair or if your hair is thinning. Eggs act like a conditioner and moisturize dry hair. Eggs also make dull hair shine because unlike shampoo, eggs maintain the hair’s natural oils, which shampoo strips away.

Why is Honey good for your hair:
Chances are, if you can eat it, you can put it on your body. Honey contains vitamins, minerals, is antibacterial, acts as a humectant (attracts moisture), and has incredible healing properties. Many civilizations in the past and today use honey for many, many uses, and honey for hair is one of those uses. So, honey is definitely safe for the hair and has stood the test of time. The prove? You can buy on Ulta a famous hair salon brand: Catwalk is formulating a mask with honey
Milk is good for your hair:
Apart from your skin, milk is great for your hair as well since it is rich in vitamins and minerals that are vital for your hair health. Applied topically, milk offers the following benefits for your hair.
Moisturizing, conditionning and shinny treatment.
I never drink milk, but use mare and asses milk in my comsetics and it’s fantastic!
