For my next challenge, I choose an Australian cosmetic brand.
BULLDOG Skincare for Men
This time, lets review a men skincare product.
Honestly, what drawn me to that brand…is the bulldog.
I discovered that brand in Coles supermarket and found the packaging and the concept so attractive!!!
I am also so furiously curious when talking about skincare products….
What is in the formula???
Bulldog natural skincare ingredients formula for man
Bulldog skincare for men Formula

the main ingredient is water
This ingredient is often used in formulations as an emollient to replace petrochemical silicone. It is a processed ingredient from ester alcohol and politic acid. environnement working group refers to ethylhexyl palmitate as: Human irritant – strong evidence (only for products for use around the eyes, on the skin, or may be aerosolized (airborne)
Is Derived from coconut oil and glycerin. It is considered an excellent emollient and skin-repairing ingredient in cosmetics due to its mix of fatty acids that skin can utilize to repair its surface and resist moisture loss.
However it is suspected to be an environmental toxin according to the Canadian substance list.
is an emollient produced from vegetal or petrochemicals ingredients.
is a substance able to absorb 300 times it’s weight in liquid (water or oil). This is the reason why it is used in disposable diapers . It was also used in hygienic tampons, but is now forbidden since it was causing dangerous sides effects such as shocks…and strong infections. Researches to find out if that chemical is safe or not are rare. However, it has been proved that babies wearing diapers with sodium polyacrylates present much more rashes than babies wearing cloth diapers. The reason would be that this substance is absorbing so much liquid ( natural oil and moister) out of the skin, it could impair the natural skin protection. If it is doing so on babies behinds….what about men faces???
is considered a safe surfactant. It is thickening cosmetic creams and is an emulsifiant. It means it helps the oily part in the formula to bind with the water part.
Citrus aurantium bergamia (Bergamot) oil, Citrus medica limonum(Lemon) oil, Citrus aurantifolia (Lime) oil, Pegargoneum graveolens (Geranium) oil, Artemisia vulgaris (Armoise) oil, Evernia furfuracea (Tree Moss) oil, Pogostemon cablin (Patchouli) oil, Vetiveria zizanoides (Vetivert) oil, Camellia sinensis (Green tea) leaf extract, Chlorella vulgaris extract, Hydrolyzed algin,
All this ingredients are essential oils or plants extracts….are safe…and great in a cosmetic formula….!!! They have anti bacterial and anti aging effects, essential oils andhydrolized algin are excellent anti oxidant substances…
Tocopherol or vitamin E, is used as a natural preservative.
My point of view:
This brand has a lot of natural ingredients…as well as some chemical ingredients, none of which are carcinogenic, neurotoxic.
Bulldog is crualty free, meaning these formulas are not tested on animals…..for that reason…I love it.
The price is very decent (around 10 Au$ ) considering the formula. It is really important to underline the fact that many very expensive cosmetic brands contain a lot of dangerous and unhealthy ingredients.
So my review comment for that bulldog product….is not bad at all…
I will share a men formula and DIY recipe soon…stay tuned
And, Gentlemen…stay handsome…naturally…
