Jasmine season
When essential oil is turning deliciously naughty
When flowers are an Aphrodisiac botanic

Here we are again….this is jasmine season in provence….
Just arrived from the pacific region in my little yard in Aix…..which is…by the way…invaded by jasmine…the beheading and arousing smell is in the air….just perfect for some inspiration….
Jasmine is largely used in perfumery….
It was already used centuries ago….in India, in North Africa….
This delicate flower has the reputation to be aphrodisiac….
I already wrote a post specifically about jasmine essential oil….
But today I wanted to share some unusual ways to use jasmine….
fresh….infused Jasmine….
If you want to surprise with an unusual cocktail….
Have you ever thought about infused fresh Jasmine flowers….
This is simply an amazing way to perfume your drinking water….

How to prepare this aphrodisiac and refreshing drink?
Take some mineral water of your choice ( room temperature)
Pick fresh flowers from your yard. if you don’t have a yard….or Jasmine….dont panic….you can buy dried flowers in an organic or herbalist store.
Let the flowers infuse for a couple of hours then place in the fridge or add ice cubes….
Serve chilled…
It will offer you a very subtile taste, will invade your taste buds as well as your olfaction….
If you prepare it with dried flowers, filter before serving….
To keep an exotic….botanic look, pick up some rose petal…lay it on your infused water
And I promise….Your alcohol free refreshing drink will transform you in a star….of flower cocktail!!!

I like the cool infused version for summer….but you can also drink it hot, infused…the taste will be stronger…
And last option…but not least….for a champagne party….why not serving your champagne in a glass of fresh jasmine flowers…
This will replace the eternal strawberry….and surprise your sweetheart….for a very sweet birthday party….a bubbling Valentine’s Day….or even better….to celebrate….your everyday beautiful love….

Mmm mmmm
Jasmine’s season!!
Whatever your choice is….
be naturally naughty today
Cheers….
xx

A little about our name, the Spoiled Bee comes from the desire of protecting our beautiful bees and of course spoiling them! Did you know scientists agree that if all bees were to disappear from the face of the earth, humanity only has about 4 years left to live due to the lack of pollination? That is why we have decided to offer among many other products and ingredients, a range of bee products which also happen to have amazing properties for your body, skin and hair.
Now we know you are probably wondering how encouraging the commerce of bee products will help the bee population? Well, over the last few decades, bee products have unfortunately and often rightly been associated with harsh harvesting and mass production to keep up with the growing demand. We will never be doing that in a million (or trillion) years! We make sure that all our bee products are harvested in a sustainable and respectful manner by carefully selecting trusted bee keepers.
All the hives are located in flowery fields and forests, away from all modern pollution and chemicals and the beekeepers always make sure our bees have more than enough honey left for winter. The more hives, the more the bee population of the world will thrive once again so please help us help them!
Lots of Love
