So far, I always…I mean always had a traditional christmas tree…
But living on on a tropical island for sourcing the best fair trade *, chemical free natural cosmetic ingredients…I am surrounded by coconut trees, tamanu trees, hibiscus flowers…no pine trees…
*Vanuatu is a 80 islands chain in the South Pacific Ocean where they never used any pesticides, chemicals…and some islands have the volcano ashes as a fertilizer…people are spontaneously eco friendly…I am so happy to find wonders of nature for our beauty here while helping Vanuatu farmers to continue their ancestral culture knowledge…they can be proud…and we can help them!
Anyway, I want my christmas tree….I got my recycled, DIY, diffuser Christmas tree…
I had a lot of fun harvesting branches on the beach, which have been polished by the waves, beached corals pieces, some seashells, coco fiber strings… Some kids came to help me…so curious to know what I would do with my “treasure”… I believe they never had a christmas tree at home…
and here we are…
My Formula:
The blend of oils I choose for a christmas spirit, is
pine essential oil (a blend of regular pinus sylvestris: 20 drops, the picea mariana pine essential oil has a soft scent…I added 20 drops) ,
cinnamon essential oil: 8 drops,
orange essential oil: 8 drops
And to make it diffusing better, 20 ml of unscented vodka ( the alcohol will allow the essential oils to bend well and to potentialize the synergy of these oils…
How to proceed:
Blend all the oils together in a small glass bottle, add the vodka.
Keep in the fridge for…as long as you can… 🙂
You can use it as soon as the next morning…all the oils will be blend…
Spray it as often as you wish…
a christmas delight…
If you don’t have corals…and beached branches …you can do a great diffuser on pine cones…or if you have any wooded christmas tree decoration, spray your christmas blend on it…it will keep the scent for longer…
I hope you enjoyed this post
Thank you for your visit, oh oh oh…
