avocado alkaline chocolat mousse GF dairy free

To realize this delicious recipe, you will need, per serving :

-1 ripe avocado (if it is a tropical avocado, half will be enough)

-4 squares of dark chocolate, choose a milk free, and at least a 72 % cocoa dark chocolate (4 squares or approximately 25 gramms)…this will provide you with maximum 7 gramms of sugar per serving.

-2 tbsp of coconut cream (be sure it is pure unsweetened coconut cream, you can also use soy or almond milk)

-1/2 a tea spoon of grinded vanilla pods

How to realize your Avocado Chocolate Mousse:

-take the pulpe of avocado out of its skine with a tea spoon

-pour the chocolate with the coconut cream into a bowl togther with the grinded vanilla and put it in your microwave for 20 seconds….just the time for chocolate to melt…

-pour the avocado pulp and  your melted mixture into a blender…and blend….

mix avocado pulp with melted chocolate mixture

Soooo easy ….

If you are not in a sugar diet, you can add 1 tbsp of coconut’s flower sugar…this will taste sweetter…

-Pour your blended mixture into nicely designed bowls (As it is said, the pleasure of our eyes is part of our food experience:)

-spread a mix of cruched almonds, nuts, pine nuts and gratted coconut pulp…this will offer a nice toping…and soooo healthy.

-Keep for at least half an hour in the fridge to allow a cool, ferm and creamy texture…

Et voilà…

If you are traveling and I don’t have a blender, our tip is to mash the avocado pulp with a fork…You won’t obtain the same homogeneous texture…but this is fun to have some green spots into each bite:) and it’s as delicious as the blended version.

Why is this recipe healthy?

Avocado is very healthy because:

-it contains carotenoids.

Carotenoids are substances which have a wonderful anti oxident effect. They will also help to assimilate substances such as vitamins.

Avocado also contains Vit E

-Avocado helps to have a feeling of satiety (you won’t crave for sugar…:)

-Avocado contains a lot of folates, which are a great substance for futur babies…and are also a great substance to help prevent heart disease.

Chocolate contains magnesium

Magnesium is an essential mineral for staying healthy and is required for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. Multiple health benefits of magnesium include transmission of nerve impulses, body temperature regulation, detoxification, energy production, and the formation of healthy bones and teeth. …and honestly…it’s delicious!!!

Coconut is healthy because:

Coconut Oil Contains a Unique Combination of Fatty Acids With Powerful Medicinal Properties

The Lauric Acid in Coconut Oil Can Kill Bacteria, Viruses and Fungi, Helping to Stay Off Infections, please check this post about coconut oil

Why is it interresting to stick on a low sugar diet?

Of course if you have diabetes, but also because sugar, or glucose, is a substance which is really appreciated by cancerous cells. This is why the PET scan is using a radioactive glucose solution to diagnose a tumor…the glucose solution is better absorbed by cancerous cells and will appear on the imagery. So, as a complement, it is now often said that sugar free diet is helping in the process of healing cancer. (The Medecine Nobel price of 2 years ago underlined the benefit of fasting to promote the apoptosis (the healthy cells regulating and destroying the cancerous cells))

This recipe is not to substitute from your doctor advises but only to offer you ideas to make your diet or lifestyle fun and enjoyable…

Did you enjoy it?
