There are so many different kinds of Botanical Oils out there, it can be really confusing and downright overwhelming picking the perfect one for your skin type.  Luckily for you, we have come up with a quick guide to help you out. So, let’s dive in and look at some skin types/skin concerns and the perfect oils to add to your skincare regimen!

Dry/dehydrated skin:

Oily/acne prone skin:

*Botanical Oils are very gentle and can be used to remove eye makeup. Black Cumin Seed Oil however is a strong botanical oil and although it will not irritate your skin, it should notbe used to remove eye makeup or around the eye area.

Reactive/sensitive skin:

Mature skin/signs of age:

We have cumulated some of these oils along with a powerful anti-ageing complex in our daily Anti-Ageing Serum

Acne hyperpigmentation/skin in need of repair:

We have cumulated these three oils along with other active botanical ingredients in our daily Repair Serum.

Dull/tired looking skin:

We have added powerful 10% Fruit Enzymes along with Plum Kernel Oil to our Fruit Enzyme Serum.

Sunburnt/ inflamed skin:

Using botanical oils is very easy and brings tons of essential nutrients/anti-oxidants to your skin. They can be used as a cleanser to remove makeup at the end of the day and/or instead of your usual moisturiser before going to bed. (*Please see note above regarding Black Cumin Seed Oil as cleanser)

If you don’t want to use them daily, you can also use them sporadically as a mask to rinse off after 10 minutes for a weekly skin pick me up. They are also amazing at healing burnt and sunburnt skin and will give you immediate relief so it’s always worth having some around the house.
